Pus formation in Keloid
Pus is forming in one of the keloids on my chest, which is causing lot of pain on that site. Could you please suggest some antibacterial cream for this.

An infected keloid can complicate further. It would be advisable to visit a plastic surgeon near you. For appropriate treatment of infection and keloid.

Don't worry...you are suffering from bacterial infection causing this pus.. Specific medicine available for good control... Treatment depends on the severity..Do direct online consultation for detailed prescription by sending photos.

That needs to be drained Taking only antibiotics will only be a temporary measure and may cause frequent recurrences

First you have to settle down the infection by antibiotics and drainage and then do laser and intra lesional therapy

If keloid is on hairy area,there is tendenct fir hair root infection. This is more so in patient s having immunologicaly compromised state,diabetis,friction al area Pus anywhere has to be drained,keloid or no keloid.,under antibiotics cover. Once pus is drained and infection settled,keloid must be treated asap
