Query about small intestine
I underwent Proctectomy+IPAA+covering loop ileostomy on 01st November..Despite drinking more than 5lts of fluid daily Im having about 1litre output. Is it Normal?Kindly reply sir..Also sir I have a question to ask because after years of terrible suffering I dont want to face the same problem again..If possible kindly reply..I had colonic Inertia,Internal rectal prolapse,rectocele,SRUS..Also had Severe Gerd,Grade D esophagitis due to which developed Ineffective esophageal Motility..Sir now sometimes Im getting thick output(almost formed) sometimes,not everytime...Doc said it means that the intestine is adapting to the change..Is getting formed stools normal(because it took so less time)?plz reply..Also sir since I had motility problems is there a possibility that Ill have constipation again after I pass stools through anus?Kindly reply..Please help me..

All these variations are normal and these do not mean that you will have constipation after closure of ileostomy.
