Your query does not clearly state whether you are suffering from a throat infection or not. Regardless of that, if the tooth has developed an abscess it should be dealt with a higher and wider range of antibiotics. Take a 5 day course followed by surgical extraction. Suggesting a specific treatment on the basis of this query is difficult.
dental infection may cause tonsillar inflammation... Also pain may radiate to throat...
Ur definite treatment as per ur diagnosed condition is extraction...
Medicine subsides inflammation n pain but the source is still there (decayed tooth)... Trust ur dentist and go along with instructions...
Decayed tooth doesn’t causes throat infection but you can sometimes feel the radiating pain close to your ear region or tonsillar area. Also antibiotics can take care of dental pain for sometime but it is not a cure
Health Tips
Do warm saline rinses till you plan for your extraction
