Query regarding hcg shot fertigyn 5000iu
Hi Doctors, 2 weeks after fet, I took a bhcg test yesterday and came back positive (5 weeks pregnant) with hcg value 1416 miu/ml. I have been prescribed with estrogen and progesterone medicines and also hcg shot fertigyn 5000iu injection. I took this injection after my fet, but it has been prescribed again. Is it safe to take this injection during early pregnancy? Also, is the hcg value good for pregnancy? Please clarify.

Yes it is safe in pregnancy... It is given to support the early pregnancy... Get a scan after 3-4 days to see for the gestational sac... By that time hopefully bhcg values might be more than 3500
