QUERY REGARDING HEPATITIS B VACCINE
What quantity of Hepatitis B vaccine should be used to vaccinate an adult person who is over 25-30 yrs of age ? 20 mcg or 100mcg ? How many doses are to be given during vaccination ? Is there any need of booster ? If yes then at what interval of time.

Hep B vaccine is available in Ampoules. Standard dose for adults is 1ml, 3 doses at 0, 1week and 6 weeks. Booster should be taken every 5 years from the date you recieved 1st dose.

Do not self prescribe. It should be taken only if you are likely to be or at risk to be exposed to Hepatitis B.
