I want to get vaccinated for typhoid but there is a lot of confusion when it comes to selecting the right vaccine for me. I am 26 yrs of age and so I am looking for a vaccine that can genuinely boost my immunity against typhoid. In 2017 I was vaccinated with Peda Typh Vaccine (Salmonella Typhi Vaccine 25 mcg) but in 2019 I again had typhoid. So, when I consulted another doctor he told me to for typhoid Conjugate Vaccine bur now there are 2 types of Typhoid Conjugate Vaccines available in the market :
1) ENTEROSHIELD ( Vi Capsular Polysaccharides of Salmonella Typhi 25mcg )
2) Typbar TCV Vaccine ( Purified Vi Polysaccharides Typhoid Vaccine )
Now, with which vaccine should I get vaccinated ?
ENTEROSHIELD or with Typbar TCV Vaccine ?
What is the difference between the two of them and which is better ?
How much protection will both of the above provide ?
