Questions about stds and infections
Hi,I had unprotected sex. Got a yeast infection,& genital warts after that. Got all of the std tests done & it was all negative. I got chemotherapy done for the warts. Lastly,I've had a sore throat. I'm extremely worried about it being hiv as they all add up to that. Because the tests were done almost right after I was diagnosed with the yeast infection. Doctors say that most probably it can't be hiv,it is hpv, which was also negative in the tests. But I'm freaking out & I keep searching the internet. It's been two months since the sexual contact. And my period cycle has been normal..however they seem to be a little lighter. I wanna know the possibility of it being hiv. I'm supposed to get the rest again in a couple of months cause this could be the 'window period' but it's making me too anxious to wait. Is it possible that hpv caused the warts & the sore throat,& the yeast infection was because of something else? Cause I did eat a lot of sugary foods at that time, much more than usual?

Warts are commonly caused due to hpv.  Your sore throat could have been viral or bacterial . And the yeast infection is common in summers and if your sugars r raised ...if your hiv is negative there is no point worrying as it is not going to help ...you have to wait for 6 months for the window period to get over before repeating the test ...so keep your mind off it ...also you can ask if partner to get tested too.
