Rabies booster doses.
Can I take a rabies booster series(of two vaccines) if I suspect my encounter with a bat? Previously I had taken PreP series in March 2019 and before that also, I took rabies vaccine series(PeP) after a dog bite in year 2011. Would it be advisable if I take booster shots now even if I was vaccinated just 8 months ago? What can be the adverse effects of it? Would that be safe to take two booster doses considering I am not sure with my exposure with rabies virus this time?
