Rabies vaccine taken in gluteal region
Today was my first shot of rabies vaccine(post exposure) but the doctor told the nurse to give the injection in gluteal region. Now when I read the instructions on the vaccine,it says that the vaccine should never be taken in gluteal region. Is my first shot completely ineffective and will have to start from shot first again? or should I continue the scheduled shots(from second onwards) in deltoid region?
