Rct tooth pain
I have done root canal 2 days back and I am taking pain killers and antibiotics. The tooth on which Rct is done is paining when upper tooth or anything touches it, next sitting is after 8 days. What to do till then?

Painkiller and antibiotic for 3 days if still u hv pain after a week better get it occlusaly reduced frm ur dentist

Occlusal reduction is a cure to your problem. Visit your dentist and ask him to reduce your tooth occlusaly.

That tooth needs to be reduced occlusally,,ask your dentist to do so and the pain will disappear.Also rinse with lukewarm water and a pinch of salt in it about 3-4 times daily.

Your dentist should do occlusal reduction of the tooth in which rct has been done.

If u still have pain visit ur dentist nd get ur rct treated tooth reduced occlusally ......do warm saline rinses (take lukewarm water add a pinch of salt  )

The probable cause is that your dentist has not kept it out of occlusion.

take a pain killer for now. pain is a general phenomenon after starting root canal. it may last 1-3 days.

visit your dentist and ask them to trim the upper portion of your lower tooth. there is a possibility that the root canal treated tooth may not be completely out of occlusal level. rinse with lukewarm water and salt
