Reaction to antibiotics?
I was on antibiotics (augmentin) for tonsillitis and fever. But I developed blisters in my mouth (I was taking b complex). I now have extreme irritation on my tongue and upper jaw and gums. Cant even drink water without extreme burning sensation. This is a white coat on my tongue and the tip is clearly irritated. What is happening?

White tongue may due to candida infection which is very common in patient who is taking antibiotics or immunocompromised. It could be drug reaction if you are allergic to penicillin group before. Please consult

If the blisters and other problem started after taling the antibiotic then kindly stop the antibiotic.. White patch on the tongue could be a fungal infection superimposed in the present immuno suppressed condition.. Kindly consult
