Realiable test for typhoid
Darr team, I want to know what is the most reliable test to dignose the Typhoid. I dignosed with typhoid 2 months ago and now I am recovering. I want to check my self for infection.

Culture is hold standard test...others r widal nd typhidot.,, if ur symptoms are not persist then even no test is indicated.

Culture is the best test to diagnose typhoid..but after 2 months it is unlikely that it turns positive and is not indicated also... How were u diagnosed then?..how long did u take treatment?..did ur symptoms resolve?..all these will only better guide us to tell u what is needed now..
