Avoid bending, climbing stairs, lifting heavy weights or any such activities that put pressure on abdomen. Breastfeed the baby regularly. Can go on with routine activities. Take rest atleast for 6weeks post surgery. While getting up from bed turn to one side so that your abdominal pressure won't raise.
