Recovery time
Sir, I've undergone spinal surgery and bilateral calcaneum surgeries in 2011-12 , and 4 screw were kept in my both calcanea . Now I wish to get the screws removed in my right calcaneum. I would like to take your opinion in how many days I may be recovered after surgery. Thank you sir.

There are 2 screws with washer in calcaneum, which was probably fused at subtalar joint. You can get them removed, sutures will heal by 2 weeks. Weight bearing after 4-5 days better. Return to sports/ running around 3-4 weeks post surgery.
