Rectal prolapse - Obstructed Defecation
I have been diagnosed with SRUS, moderate pelvic floor descent and recto-rectal intussusception with small anterior rectocele as per the MR defecography test done in January. Is there a cure for this in Ayurveda? What treatment options are available?

Hello Sir, Solitary Rectal Ulcer is one of the very rare issue and usually associated with recto-rectal intussusception. But certainly it is curable with Ayurvedic Medicines, provided in the absence of complete obstruction (that is, even unable to pass flatus) We, here at Khasgiwale Ayurveda Clinic, have treated many such cases, including genital prolapse as well. The principle of the treatment is to improve muscle tone, immunity and enhance healing mechanism of the body. We personally prepare our medicines (चूर्ण चिकित्सा) and do the combinations as needed. Which can be sent to you via courier service. Till then you can start with this, * अश्वगंधारिष्ट - 4 teaspoon twice a day with equal amount of water - 30 mins after meals. Kindly contact for more details or queries if any. Happy to help you..! Get well soon...!
