I got a bump in my armpit, that was very painful initially and had little black tip, but after saline compresses, the pain went away and the black tip too. Now it's only a bump, with almost nil pain. What to do for the bump?
I have had similar problem before at the exact same site. (Around 4 months back) A dermatologist prescribed some antibiotics and the bump completely went away.

It’s better to get it evaluated, it can be just a simple infection of hair or could be long term issue known as hidradenitis suppurativa. Both of them will require antibiotics and life style changes like weight reduction, diet modification, laser hair reduction ( in some cases)
