Recurring food stuck in throat
Hi, Few days ago, we were having dinner and all of sudden my mother fell down  unconciously while having a bite due to food choke in throat. It happened quite a few times now but this time it was so sever that she got unconscious. Can you please prescribed the issue and its resolution. Thanks

If she fell down and was unconcious with normal breathing, then it is not due to choking. It definitely needs further evaluations to find the cause

Frequent choking can be due to stroke, which causes loss of swallowing reflex and cough reflex due to which the patient experience recurrent choking and difficulty to swallow. Falling unconscious again could be due to stroke, or it could be due to convulsion disorder. But to confirm this or to find the exact problem she should be evaluated thoroughly.
