For the last 4 months, I've been having inflammation (redness, itching and scaling) on the upper lip vermilion border that sometimes extends to the perioral skin esp after brushing teeth and upon waking up. My lower lip got affected last month - no redness but tingling sensation & peeling. Saw a doctor who gave me hydrocortisone. Two-time application would calm it down but it comes back after 2 days. I dont lick my lips, use lipsticks or take any med. I moisturize my lip frequently.
