Red nose, bruised look

Asked for Female, 29 Years

I tried to remove clogs by squeezing my nose. In the end my nose turned very red as If I hit my nose hard. It now looks very embarrassing. It looks like a bruise. I have applied ice pack and some turmeric. Kindly suggest how to reduce the red marks.

Hello there...I can understand your concern. It would have been better if you had posted a photo of the bruise. Because without looking at the lesion it is very difficult for us to diagnose the condition and treat you further. If there's open wound or bleeding, you will need topical antibiotics creams. If it's just inflammation, then you will need oral anti inflammatory medications and topical cold compresses. So kindly consult a dermatologist for further evaluation.
