Red Patch behind right ears from birth
My daughter is 10 months old now and she was born with a bright red Patch almost the whole area behind her right ears...it's as big as her palm. Her pediatrician told then that it will fade in 2-3 months... It has become little light now when she is normal however when she cries it becomes too reddish and that area is always warmer than rest of the body. I had a normal delivery. It has still not faded and remains like that... Is it a cause of concern and by when will it fade

Most probably it's salmon patch, a type of birth mark very common in Newborns, most of them go away within 1 yr, it's harmless , so just wait n watch n consult sos
