Not able to hear properly through left ear for few days now. Feels like when water goes in. Have been trying to clean it using ear buds. Now there is a slight pain in the ears but still can't hear properly.

its likely that you are having impacted wax in your ear canal and is causing decreased hearing and pain due to pressure over surrounding skin..kindly consult nearby ENT specialist

DO NOT PUT COTTON BUDS INTO EAR! From the history you gave, you probably have hard wax in ear and water has entered the ear while bathing and is trapped between the wax and your eardrum. Please drop into my clinic so that I could remove it gently and free you of that irritating problem.
