You have to be in regular touch with your psychiatrist and also take the medications as prescribed, stopping them in between will have an adverse effect.
You might be having another episode of depression. It would have been easy to prevent this episode of depression and anxiety if medications usage was not stopped in 2 months. I recommend you to visit or consult psychiatrist amd follow up regularly
Hi I am really sorry that you continue to suffer and resigned your job. Medicines help to improve depressive disorders but don't cure. Depressive disorders are usually cyclical i.e. after 6 months to 1year you will recover. Stress and strain of life can delay recovery. So please consult a Psychiatrist and continue antidepressants.
In addition try and learn cognitive behavioural therapy techniques which will help you to remain well and come off the medication.
Looking at your symptom profile, I would suggest you to be regulary in touch with your psychiatrist. Usually any antidepressant medicine takes 6 to 8 weeks to have its effect. In your case, it may be advisable to switch to another class of antidepressants now. Coming to your main concern, for prescribing a new medications, any psychiatrist will need to have proper assessment of your symptoms and other parameters related to you.
