Regarding change in power
Hi, -->I am having astigmatism my power before 4 years was -right eye - (-1 sph) ,( -2.5 cyl), 180° -Left eye - (-1 sph) , (-1.25 cyl), 180°. -->Now I do the check up yearly so this year I changed the new glasses and then I felt litle difference. -->I had done corneal topography and kereteconous test before 3 years and it was normal. -->So when I checked up at 3 places and I got different power at all 3 places. -->So now my power change little bit Right eye - (-1.5sph) , (-2.5 cyl) , 180° Left eye - (-1.25 sph), (-1.5 cyl) , 180° -->So dr told me that your cylindrical power is high and you should do corneal topography test again because cyl power doesn't change. -->But another dr told it's a minor change and no need for corneal topography at present after seeing previous report. -->So what should I do ?because I don't have any problems with my eye at present. But I work 10-11 hours in front of computer as I am working in IT.

Hi.. The change in cylindrical power is not significant ...so no need for topography. Rough guideline is around 1 dioptre change in power ..to take any action .. Take steps to reduce computer vision syndrome ...as suggested many times on this platform.

Hello, Spherocylinder number do change. But according to the power that you have written in your description it's a minor change. So in my opinion .. you can withhold the corneal topography, with due respect to the other doctors opinion of doing it,  as everybody has a different way of working. Regarding your different readings at different places.. there are many factors that come into play- the time of the day  you did the test..how much of dryness in your eyes.. what machine used etc..which should not be bothersome as the difference would not be that much. I always tell my patients that glass power is not maths. So dont worry
Next Steps
change your glasses
Health Tips
take necessary precautions for your eyes as you have long time of exposure to the screen
