Regarding Covid Test
I travelled for 12 hours yesterday in the Delhi-NCR region. There are guidelines in my city that anyone returning from Delhi-NCR should get themselves tested for Covid-19. However, i was reading that early testing after infection might give a false negative and impression that one is covid negative since virus takes around 4-6 days to show symptoms. However, since morning, i have been having high heart rate (around 110) even while i am resting. Similar thing used to happen to me when my body used to fight other viral infections in the past. So, should i get myself tested for covid as soon as possible or should i wait for 4-6 days so that i can get accurate results whether i am positive or not. Are currently used testing kits able to detect the virus on day 1?

Hi, The raise in the heart rate may be due to anxiety. You can wait for 2 to 3 days or until you get any symptom of covid like fever or respiratory problems.
