Regarding sprained ankle.
Do I need to wear a sports shoes or sandals for a sprained ankle ? Last year when I had a sprained ankle in the other leg I used to wear normal sandals with ankle support bandage and it had worked fine.

Hi sir. Sports shoes work better for ankle sprain to give an extra support. An over the counter ankle binder can be tried initially. If it does not work or sprain is recurrent or very severe, special brace/ stirrups are available by certain companies which might be used for treatment as well as prevention of future sprains. Don't forget RICE (Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation) for an acute episode.
Next Steps
Sport shoes and ankle binder
