Regular pain in lower abdomen

I am facing continous pain in my lower abdominal area which starts acute bt ends slowly in 15-20 minutes i gets repeatedly during d day my periods are due n dis tym of pain occurs every month when my period is about to start in a day or two but dis tym this pain is continuously there for whole month what could be probabe reason
