Renal tuberculosis
How to detect renal tb ? In ct scan the kidney shows a simple cyst. Does that have to anything with tb ? Will any tb disease will show positive for Urine AFB or Sputum AFB. If the same are negative is it safe to assume I don't have tb? Are there any other indicators of renal tb ? I was diagnized with pulmonary tb. I completed course of 9 months then after 5 months I started getting Urinary tract infection. It keeps coming back...please help suggest and advice...

That cyst may or may not have tuberculosis. To confirm the diagnosis fluid from the cyst needs to be extracted and sent for pathological examination. Till then it can not considered as TB.
