Repeated Herpes infection
I have facing repeated Herpes infection ( shingles) on right eye lid , below right eye from last 10 yrs. facing atleast once in year. Have negative HIV and TB reports. why this repeated occurance. pl suggest

Frequent reoccurence is usually due to lack of immunity and/or repeated exposure to infection. Please improve your immunity by taking nutritious food with lot of fresh fruit and vegetables. The infection is more common in harvesting seasons. So take tab a vivid 400 twice daily during those days.

Hello If there is recurrent herpes then you need to use prophylactic antiviral tablet like acyclovir 400mg twice daily for probably whole life. Having said that it is provisional diagnosis. Kindly consult local ophthalmologist and get proper eye examination done
