Resistant Infection
Doctor, Please Guide Me, In January have little bacterial infection on external piles skin but moderate fungal skin infection, doctor prescribe me antibiotic (cefuroxime 500 mg) for 5 days and antifungal cream. But I do not able to take antibiotic for 5 days due to High Pinch n itching in fungus, so I stop antibiotic after 3 days BUT bacterial infection little remaining. So I started to treated fungus infection first. Now in march I get fungus infection almost treated but my bacterial pile infection became worse. Now Doctor prescribe me Antibiotic (Ciprofloxacin) for 10 days but even after 5 days of antibiotic my skin infection is becoming worse. Then Doctor Prescribe Azithromycin 500 mg for 3 days, Even Then Infection is not Treated, Sample Culture cannot be taken as infection is in sensitive area. And My Fungus Infection is Again Started to show its symptoms. Now Doctor Again give Cefuroxime to try.Dr What you suggest. Is Infection became resistant to all antibiotic or is worth try
