How many months we should take rest after delivery... Is 5 months rest needed or 3months is enough..

3 months rest is enough, take healthy balanced diet green vegetables and fruits avoid oily spicy food, start doing light excercises, avoid heavy weight lifting, heavy work.

After normal delivery 3 months rest is enough however one should not lift weights and do heavy work for 1 year to prevent uterine prolapse Gym can be started at 6 months after delivery
