Resume to go to work after metatarsal fr
Hi.. I have 3rd metatarsal fracture in left foot and ligament stretch in right ankle. Left foot has been kept with synthetic plaster and in right foot only crep is there. Doctor has advised to keep it for 6 weeks. Then again I have to do xray and plaster and crep will be cut. My question is approx how much time will it take for walking freely. By when can I expect to go to work. Thanks

All take 6 weeks to heal normally. You probably can walk better by 8 to 10 weeks- going back to work in 8 to 10 weeks. Swelling is common upto 6 months
