Retinitis pigmentosa
Sir/ maam any possible cure we can hope in 3-5 years? So many people are suffering due to this.. It's not as rare as claimed to be why research is not moving faster? From 30-40 years they are claiming for treatment and still in in vivo stages not even touching clinical trials.. Why so ignorant about so many persons eye sight?

Stem cell treatment is currently under trial. Until and unless it gets a FDA approval, it can't be implemented. However retinal prosthesis is being implemented in few countries as a mode of treatment for moderate to severe RP.
