Risk of Pregnancy at 30
Can i conceive at 30? Is it safe??? With screening test and all is it possible to rule out the risk of Down Syndrome?? What are the pros and cons of conceiving at 30? Will it be safe? Please doctors reply ..waiting anxiously

Hi. Dont worry. Now a days 30 is a common age to conceive. There r some tests can be done. Preconceptional tests also needed and also sfter conception for down etc can be done.

In absence of any known medical and surgical factors, 30 is a good age to conceive. To be on safer side; test for AMH levels. There are first as well as second trimester screening tests to screen for chromosomal abnormalities including Down's syndrome.
