I strongly advise to take extreme caution and maintain social distancing. Government has lifted the lock-down; but it doesn't mean that the virus is less lethal and you can't get infected. Though people with diabetes are NOT more likely to get COVID-19 than the general population, diabetic patients suffer the worst outcomes if they do get sick of coronavirus. Having heart disease or other complications in addition to diabetes could worsen the chance of recovery from COVID-19, because your body’s ability to fight off an infection is compromised. Unless it's an emergency, avoid visiting crowded places (such as hospitals, markets or malls), eat healthy (less carbs and oil), exercise, maintain your sugar and keep an eye on your HBA1C.
