Sanitizer + water
Will diluting any alcohol based sanitizer with Water and then spray on items that are coming in my home, help in killing the virus on it? If yes then what should be the ratio of sanitizer with water?

No it will not, rather use 1% sodium hypochlorite solution( 1kg bleaching powder in 1 bucket of water ie 30 litres) as per MOHFW guideline. But do not spray of edible items and medicines etc.
