I was earlier on risperdal tablets.doctor stopped it and said me to continue with solian. What is the reason?Is the risperdal is prescribed for rape victims? What are other reason risperdal is prescribed?

Risperidal is prescribed as treatment for schizophrenia and other psychotic conditions . If patient doesn't respond to risperidal ...it may be changed to another antipsychotic ..such as solian ... Or when u have more of negative symptoms like withdrawn behavior ...may be changed to solian
