Sebaceous cyst
Hi dr. I have a sebaceous cyst on the lower back,it's there from around 10 years,I never had any problem. 1 year back I had c-section delivery, after that cyst got infected so my gynic gave some antibiotics ,it is healed but still the cyst is there. Recently I am observing two more cyst kind of things on the upper back,I am worried. There can be multiple cysts?do I need a surgical removal?only one time it got infected. I don't have any pain and discomfort. Please suggest. Thank you

Sebaceous cyst had to be removed. It is a very minor procedure.

Hello, If the cyst doesn't bother you, you can leave it for now. If it gets infected you may have to show a dermatologist and get it treated. It does have a tendency to grow especially if you sweat.
Health Tips
avoid sweating. avoid high glycemic diet so oil secretion is controlled.
