Seizures Problem
Hi! I have seizure Problem. Since last 8 years , I am on medicine namely VALPROL-CR. In the beginning it was of 500 mg but now decreased to 200 mg..In the meantime, approximately 2 years ago, from now the medicine was stopped as the reports namely CT-SCAN and EEG was alright..But unfortunately 3 months after stopping the medicine, seizure repeated again..the noticeable point is, all the seizure came after awakening in the morning. The doctor relates it to genetics..so what can I do further?..stick to medications or meet any doctor who is specialized in genetics..If there is any other way..please suggest me.

No role of  genetics in treatment part  . Restart medicine in at least 300mg twice daily dose. Stay in touch wth an epilepsy specialist .  Even if EEG and CT are normal continue meds..
