Severe eye infection in the right eye.
Myticom eye drops prescribed along with gatifloxacin ointment. Severe burning after application of drops. Is it normal to have this severe burning because of infection or should the drops be discontinued?

It looks like infection, so please stop the steroids ( Dexa). Apply Vigamox eye drops and Refresh tears

if you are having thick discharge and sticky ness of eyes with  lid swelling which  indicates severe  infection  .then please don't use myticom eye drops. do cold compresses and put exocin eye drops 2hourly  with some lubricant 2to3 times daily and gatifloxacin oint  at bed time.  for still detailed  consultation  please share your close-up pic of your eyes.
