My son is having severe fever (upto 103.8) since Thrusday. Initially, we gave him crocin and he was fine during the day. On Thrusday, since the fever was 103, doctor prescribed meftal. Urine and blood test reports are clean, still fever is presisting and every eight hours it goes above 103. We have been giving meftal every eight hours to control the fever.
Doctor says that since reports are clear, there is normal viral which will go with time and have asked us to see her on Tuesday. We are scared that if everything is clear, why fever is going upto 103.8 in every eight hours.

I understand your concern, if the fever is still so high it is best to review tomorrow with your doctor and discuss further tests and change in treatment as needed
