Severe headache During airplane landing
I'm experiencing severe headache during airplane landing on back side of the neck towards back of the head. It's a peircing and stabbing pain, it becomes unbearable. iam travelling abroad again this week can you pls recommend some remedies and medicines and any care to be taken. I have mild hypertension so I take Telma 20 regularly and some vitamin supplements for D deficiency.

This type of pain after landing may be not smooth mist not be ignored . You must check your BP and see an internist in a good hospital he may guide you further

this could be migraine. - Avoid eating foods with nitrates such as hot dogs, deli meats, bacon, and sausage - Avoid food such as chocolate, cheese, blue, feta, cheddar, Parmesan, Swiss cheese, alcohol especially red wine, foods that contain monosodium glutamate (MSG), a flavor enhancer foods that are very cold such as ice cream or iced drinks processed foods, pickled foods, beans, dried fruits, cultured dairy products such as buttermilk, sour cream, and yogurt - Inhaling lavender essential oil may ease migraine pain. - Apply a menthol solution to the forehead and temples has shown to give relief. - Having food items such as ginger, almonds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, Brazil nuts, cashews, peanut butter, oatmeal, eggs and milk - Destress with practices such as yoga, meditation - Sleep properly with a minimum of 8 hours of sleep at night. - When attacks of migraine come sitting in a dark silent room has shown to give relief. If the condition persists or worsens visit the nearest ER.
