Severe jaw and tooth pain
I took a nap yesterday and woke up with severe pain on my upper left molar. At first it was just the tooth, but now the surrounding gum area is tender to the touch. My jaw is swollen and hot to the touch. What could this be? I can’t get to my dentist for at least 24 hours.

Hi,it could be pain due to a decayed tooth or some gum problem or severe gingivitis.Take antibiotics like Augmentin-625 mg twice daily along with Zerodol-SP for pain twice daily,,avoid chewing from affected area,,then see dentist. Also a soft semi-solid cold diet is indicated for few days.
