Severe pain after surgery
I had septoplasty on 5/25/2018. Today I had my stitches and stints removed. I am experiencing sharp, stabbing pains and burning around the area of incision, in addition to the soreness and pressure from swelling, but I was told no further pain medicine will be perscribed. I'm affraid I have been labeled as I live in an area of epidemic. I'm in considerable pain; ibuprofen, acetaminophen, etc offering no relief. Should pain management have been stopped so soon? Any suggestions?
