Severe pain from 2 days
My wife had head injury when she was 4 years old and she got 8 stitches. When she was 14 year old she had some pain in her head but after medication that went away. Now from last 2 days she had sever pain in her head around . She even can't able to sit properly. Doctor advised me for CT scan. I m worried that whether she has any serious issue arised from that injury after 14 years. What could be the possibilities. And how much sever it could be. She had nothing wrong before these days. She was fine in study and in her job. She do all the work very efficiently. Please suggest me what should i do, and what could be the possibility of worse problem .

Hello there.
I can understand your concern.
Where exactly did she have the injury and where exactly on the head does she have the pain now?
Its highly unlikely that the injury when she was 4 could have caused a problem now.
Get it checked out by a MD consultant physician in person for further evaluation and management.
