I developed severe itchy rashes 5 days back after undergoing contrast CT scan. A non ionic iodine based contrast dye Omnipaque was administered at the time of scan.
I have been taking 20mg Atarax twice a day for the past 2 days but of no help.
The rashes started from the private parts and have spread to belly, chest, arms, neck and face now.
Please suggest what needs to be done. Will a steroid like medrol help.
I have not been able to sleep due to excessive itching.
