Sgot 23 Sgpt 70
Hi all 15 days back sgpt was 35 and i am right now on few medications like multivitamins, aspirin as recovering from covid, why sgpt increased to 70, is it dangerous

SGPT and SGOT are included in liver function tests. these basically indicate of how your liver functions. These can be elevated in you blood incase of liver infections, due to medications you are using. So what I assume is that your medications during covid particularly flavipiravir is what made to increase in SGPT. So don't worry after few days it will come to normal. Viral infection can impact OT/PT ....if ur appetite is normal no need to worry ...repeat ot /pt after 3 days to see if returned to baseline....
