SGPT high range
Hi i am 69 year old woman.  My weight is 71kg.  I have diabetese and acidic problem.  Three months back my sgpt was 57. Then doc started urimadin tab 300mg twice daily.  Now my sgpt has come high 147, though was taking medicine. What could be cause of it and what is best treatment.  My cbc report is normal except Heamoglobin 8.4. Pls help me

It is important to know your medicine history, apart from that need to know values from your complete LFT reports. Need to exclude viral hepatitis and evaluate hepatobiliary system radiologically.

Any nausea/ vommiting/ high coloured urine. Do detailed LFTs and if possible USG abdomen. Fatty liver is common cause of mild increase in SGPT, but a doctor visit would help to plan better

Consult physician/gastroenrerologist... less likely due to diabetes need to evaluate further for hepatobiliary causes
