I have a lump under my shoulder blade that causes random pain for about 12 hours at a time and it makes my ribs hurt, has been occurring for two years.
I thought it might be a knott so I got a massage but they were unable to get rid of it and problem is consistent. I don't have insurance so I don't want to go to the doctor unless I need too.

I would advise you to visit a general surgeon so as to evaluate the mass over your shoulder and since it affects the movement and is causing pain on other areas. You should get it evaluated and undergo the necessary investigations to find the nature of the mass.
