Shoulder pain.
I am a 25yo regular gym goer. I have been having pain in my shoulder joint whenever i ride my motorcycle for long 10+kms. It must be because of the rotator cuff imbalance. What i am unable to figure out is which muscle is it related to. Is my serratus anterior too strong or my subscapularis is weak? Because riding a bike is internally rotating my shoulders and that internal rotation is causing pain. I have worked on shoulders very much not giving my rotator cuffs the same treatment. Please help.

Great deal of information that you are trying to provide. Partially correct are you in saying that these pains are most commonly due to an imbalance in rotator cuff and scapular stabilising muscles. please see a sports medicine specialist to rule out impingement syndrome and any other associated pathology. use a blue theraband for exercising your should muscles. See a physiotherapist for exercise and electrotherapy. most patients do extremely well with exercises and few require surgical interventions. All the best.

Consult shoulder surgeon. It looks like sub acromial bursitis. You need assessment and probably cuff strengthening exercises. Opinion given by Dr Sivaraman B, Shoulder surgeon. Thoraipakkam, OMR, Chennai.
