Sign of improvement from tmj
After nearly 2 years of my treatment for tmj disorder My orthodontist has noticed that my upper and lower molar teeth are going to touch with each other. Also now I am becoming able to chew food with more better way. Are these the signs of improvement from tmj disorder? If the treatment of tmj disorder via splint and braces do not work for me or make my condition worse then what symptoms I will experience? Please help...

Yes...it is the sign of improvement...dr has corrected your bite n occlusion both If it doesnt work thn.... u may feel consistent pain in TMJ Experience Grinding of teeth But from current scenario...ur treatment is going very well.
Next Steps
follow dr's instructions n complete the treatment properly

during flare up use muscle relaxants do streching excercises applying ice will b helpful
